Game Description – Bleach – Heat The Soul 7 (Japan):
Bleach – Heat The Soul 7 (Japan) is a popular PlayStation PSP Video Game and now you can play this game on android using PPSSPP android emulator. Bleach: Heat the Soul 7 is the seventh installment of the Bleach: Heat the Soul series on the PlayStation Portable. It was released on September 2, 2010.
The gameplay is still mostly the same from the previous installments of the Heat the Soul series. The game is player friendly, the controls are smooth and opens up to more combos and also brings back the “soul codes” which change the gameplay experience based on what soul codes you choose such as increasing speed, hp, or attacks etc. The menu system is the same as HTS 6 so it is easy to find your way around but leaves a bit of a disappointed feeling as it feels like you are back in HTS 6. HTS 7 introduces 4 player battles for the first time as well as giant boss battles. It is easy to say that this games main focus is the 4 player and giant boss battles due to lack of improvement in other areas for the game. The level of the AI has fallen a bit in this game as they don’t seem to pose too much of a challenge as opposed to the previous HTS 6. The action is still great though. However, when it comes to giant boss battles, the damage system is unbalanced. There are about ten new playable characters (when you include the resurrections and such for them). And for the first time in any of the Heat the Soul series, there is a download option to download a special movie character.
The story is very similar to the manga and follows it quite accurately which makes this game fun. The story starts off with the continuation of Ichigo and Ulquiorra’s final battle and its conclusion. It then continues its way down to the war of the Shinigami and Arrancars with a filler conclusion. Ichigo is struggling to defeat Ulquiorra and the Captains are still struggling to defeat the Arrancars and Espada. They are joined by the Vizards as the war gets bigger. You first play as Ichigo, the Soul Society shinigamis, and the Vizards in a fight to protect KaraKura Town. Included in this game is a filler mission where you fight Muramasa from the Zanpakutou Rebellion filler story.
As usual, the graphics are great in the Heat the Soul series and always improve. The movements look smoother and the voices are much clearer. It does not feel laggy at all. HTS 7 brings back some memorable music from the previous installments and the boss battle musics are great! And watching those short game animation scenes are always a great welcome.
It could take no more than 2 hours for this game to be completed through story mode. The story mode is short so don’t expect a huge thrill when playing through the story. The game does try to make up for it with a sort of “mirror mode” kind of thing where you basically play the story again but in a different view which is the only reason you would play through it again unless you are seeking for high rank scores. You can always enjoy Hueco Mundo Conquest which brings more enjoyment. There are more ways to enjoy the game such as battling your friends via Ad-Hoc. Also, if you love playing an action game with a huge character roster, then this game should last for a good amount of time.
Depending on the person who is buying it, the game is definitely good for a rent but not so much for buying. This game is very much like HTS 6 but with little, and I mean little updates. In my opinion, this game was released too early and felt rushed. If you have played HTS 6, then you might be disappointed in the lack of possible content that this game could have had. If you are new to Heat the Soul 7, then I would strongly recommend this game as it would be worth every coin.
